Salem UMC welcomes everyone. Open Hearts, Open Minds, Open Doors

Our Service is at 9:00am. It is a traditional, structured service led by our Pastor, Rev. Dr. John A. Laughlin, Sr., through the United Methodist traditions of hymns, scripture, prayer, choir, organ and hand bells. Holy Communion is offered at both services on the first Sunday of each month. We practice open communion so all who seek to respond to Christ’s love are welcome to Christ’s table with us. Please join us for coffee and a snack at 9:50am in our Fellowship Hall and feel free to take your snack to one of our Sunday School classes, which begin at 10:00am.

When you arrive at Salem, feel free to park on any side of the church but it is best as a visitor to enter our south door where you will find a greeter at our Welcome Center.

All church doors will be locked promptly at 9:00 am to ensure the safety of our congregation during the worship service. If you arrive after 9:00 am, please enter through either the Main Entrance (Door #1) or the North Entrance (Door #5), located directly behind the sound booth. A greeter will be at both of these entrances to welcome you & let you in. Thank you for your cooperation as we work to maintain a safe and secure environment for everyone at Salem.

Our entire worship service, including the Children's Message, is live-streamed and recorded. By entering the sanctuary or allowing your child to participate, you consent to being filmed. Those wishing to avoid the camera may sit in back half of the Sanctuary. Salem United Methodist Church of Manheim is not responsible for any unauthorized use of recordings by outside parties.
